Bodies that Recognize our Continuing Education 

The continuing education program is part of a Quality Assurance program within each regulated health profession. Please note that some associations may have a minimum and maximum allowable credits provided to any given modality. As such, the CE numbers will vary across associations. It is advisable to verify the numbers allowed per course by your regulating association.

CMTBCThe College of Massage Therapists of British Columbia is the regulatory body for registered massage therapists in the province of British Columbia. It acts on behalf of all British Columbians to ensure registered massage therapists always deliver safe and effective treatments.

A Registered Massage Therapist (RMT) who properly reports to Quality Management Committee (QMC) at CMTBC and has successfully completed course #101 Lower Body Protocols, can apply for up to 24 credits in the Practical Education category as detailed by relevant cycle of the QMC CE/PD program.

NHPC: Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC) sets internal standards that are used as a baseline for recognition of school programs that teach NHPC recognized modalities. All registered members of NHPC must be graduates of an NHPC recognized program. Currently NHPC recognizes the Bowen College training program under the Discipline (D) level. To gain membership with the NHPC, you must have graduated from a Discipline level NHPC-recognized program, for an NHPC-recognized modality. Bowen College is an NHPC recognized school with credited programs under the Bowen modality.

NCBTMB: The National Certification Board approves the Bowen College for Therapeutic Massage & Bodywork (NCBTMB) as a continuing education Approved Provider.

CNPBC: The College of Naturopathic Physicians of British Columbia Registered naturopathic physicians who complete a Bowen course may submit proof of attendance for CEUs. Bowen Courses fall under Category C and are not given prior approval, evaluations are conducted by CNPBC.
